After the applet is loaded, a security warning will appear. You will have to trust/grant the digital signature. This is required because you will have to connect to a foreign server other than cx.freeshell.org in order to play the game.
To run a Deuce server, you need to download big2.jar. Then open a virtual terminal (command prompt), change directory to where the downloaded file is located, and type

java -cp big2.jar big2/Big2Server [port]
```
The port is optional. Your IP address is provided above. If you are behind a firewall, you may have to open the port and change some settings to make the server work.
